SUMMARY:16th Annual Transmission Summit
DESCRIPTION:The Midwestern Governors Association (MGA) and the Organization of MISO States (OMS) are pleased to announce the 16th Annual Transmission Summit which will be held July 8-9\, 2026 in Bismarck\, North Dakota at the North Dakota’s Gateway to Science at 1600 Canary Avenue. \n\n\n\nThis event will focus primarily on interregional transmission issues from a variety of perspective and lenses. Keynote addresses will also be given from Nicole Kivisto at MDU Resources and Steven Johnson from SPP.  \n\n\n\nThere is also an optional tour available to attendees on July 8. Separate Tour Registration is required. The tour includes stops at the Bison Wind project and the Minnesota Power Square Butte Substation\, where you can view Square Butte Substation & discuss modernization of the HVDC transmission line. \n\n\n\nBoth organizations are excited to be partnering again on this annual event and look forward to sharing a draft agenda in the near future.
